Intelligent Workflow - The AMANDA workflow engine automates an organization’s business and occupational processes so that work can move automatically from one individual’s desk to another. Staff no longer need to juggle paper to–do lists, logs and other documents to schedule their day. The software does all of the work necessary to process a particular application, from application acceptance, all the way through to issuance and renewal. AMANDA can track a wide range of calls dealing with complaints or requests making it easy to look up history related to a license.

Rapid Renewals – AMANDA can track licenses/applications from submission through to issuance with features that simplify the annual renewal of alcohol and lottery, business and professional licenses. Renewal letters are generated according to criteria such expiry date and can be renewed automatically in a batch process. Those holding multiple licenses will be sent one renewal letter itemizing all licenses about to expire. Annual or bi-annual reminders have bar codes printed on them so licenses can be quickly retrieved and renewed.

AMANDA Mobile/Field Auditing - Auditors make sure that businesses and professionals are keeping their end of the license agreement. With Mobile PAL, auditors can audit businesses and have information on gaming and alcohol-serving establishments with their laptop/tablet, or PDA. Auditors checklist change depending on license type; so liquor inspections, for example, focus on maximum occupancy limits and checking patron ID’s. Business licenses and inspection policies and practices can be retrieved and updated with a complete audit trail.

Examinations and Certifications - Clerks can scan certificates into the system and store them with an individual’s record. The system can also store professional development course information. Once the course is completed, marks, instructor comments and the resulting impact on their occupational certification or professional standing can be recorded and accessed online by licensees.

Reporting and Collecting - AMANDA provides the flexibility to calculate basic and complex fees and bills, including deferrals. AMANDA tracks fees for all license types including, gaming expenses, proceeds, donations and event ratios. The system also provides tables to track wheel and draw details. AMANDA can calculate fees from revenue and can accept a variety of payment types. The system records the date, type and authority of each transaction issued against each individual license. Cash drawer balances are maintained for each staff member.
