Moving applications through the review phase can involve complex coordination between Planning, Engineering, Fire and external agencies. This process is made more difficult in jurisdictions where departments keep their own data silos. Fortunately, AMANDA’s workflow extends across departments to tie outcomes from one phase of development into a subsequent phase, enabling a wide range of parties to act as one.

Engineering - AMANDA guides Engineering department stakeholders during construction and assumption phases of the land development process. The system enables engineers to perform functions such as:
Access planning's conditions (also called developer contributions) within the original development agreement without visiting the Legal dept to check the paper file.
Remind reviewers of specific agreement provisions. Track unreleased securities against a project under construction.
Access/update spatial information on the land parcel via a GIS link.
Report on review fees collected against a project.
Conduct and record mobile inspections of the project throughout the construction phase.
External Reviews via the web - Our Review module lets non-AMANDA users review and give comments that are stored together with all other information on the project. The process starts with the main system sending an email to the non-AMANDA user with a hyperlink. Once the reviewer clicks it and logs in, they are taken directly to their specific review and can enter checklists and other required information, as well as their final sign-off decision. They also have the option of viewing, printing and annotating attached files, whether or not they have the source application that created the file. AMANDA Review enables requester and reviewer to exchange emails as they do their work. Emails can automatically be sent to citizens/applicants when a certain status is reached.

Fire Code Review - AMANDA software lets fire departments review building plans electronically before and during construction. Specific features include:
Access to property and project-specific conditions, in order to assess level of fire code compliance and property risk rating.
Access to complete project history and property records.
Electronically supported reviews of site plans, subdivision plans. Staff can open CAD files in AMANDA to check fire suppression systems, make revisions and send the files back to designers.
