Our architecture follows industry-accepted best practices, utilizing popular standards such as J2EE, XML and SQL, allowing IT staff to make adjustments as necessary to keep pace with legislative and technological-platform changes. AMANDA and its components run in a variety of environments and on multiple platforms.
Our architecture features a robust security model:
· All AMANDA components provide for multi-level user security that determines the tables and rows individuals are allowed to access, the functions they are allowed to execute, and the records they are allowed to update.
· The Enterprise Security Module also further restricts access to information while providing an audit of transaction changes.
· Users can be managed within AMANDA or via external authentication tools like LDAP.
· Logins can be tracked and locked if a user fails to login after several attempts. The system can also prompt password changes at certain intervals.
