Our software’s flexibility can be understood by seeing how we use Property, People, Folder and Workflow:
Property - AMANDA houses all properties in a jurisdiction, letting various departments or the whole enterprise share a common database:
· Security settings determine how properties are updated and which staff members can make changes.
· Database stores registered owner and assessed value, GIS data, zoning codes, survey details, correspondence, development or environmental conditions, plus an unlimited number of additional fields.
· Each property can have several address types, allowing each business unit to view information from its own perspective.
· Over time, a property can be consolidated, subdivided, grouped or otherwise changed; AMANDA keeps a full audit trail of changes.
People - AMANDA tracks all the people that interact with a jurisdiction:
· People records store many standard fields such as contact information, seasonal addresses, certifications, previous and outstanding fees, ID photos, scanned documents, violations, plus an unlimited number of additional fields.
· People can be viewed by their role: as licensee, as lawyer on a subdivision agreement, as shareholder in a business, as contractor applying for a permit.
· Because AMANDA’s People records tightly interact with Property records, users can go from a person to the property they own in one click. For example, a change of address is simply done by detaching a People record from Property A and attaching it to Property B.
Folder - A Folder can be any activity a jurisdiction has with the public, which gives staff the truest and most accurate picture of a customer:
· Each Folder keeps a record of something that happens to property and/or people and can be linked to People as well as to Properties.
· Folders track all fees, documents, attachments, conditions and violations, as well as any number of user-defined fields.
· A People record’s associated Folders will show interactions they have had with various departments.
Workflow – This is what makes a Folder run, according to the process and rules set up for any transaction.
· Once Workflow is configured, it leads a Folder through its life cycle, collecting the necessary Property, People, documents, fees and approvals.
· Every type of folder has its own process, which can follow a linear, parallel or alternative method of processing.
· Tasks are automatically time stamped when performed and can be measured against targets or policy-driven timelines.
· AMANDA folders ensure every owner and property goes through the same process, while treating each according to the jurisdiction’s business rules.
