    AMANDA integrates with other systems to ensure proper data access and transfer. AMANDA Enterprise Application Interface (EAI) provides a foundation for providing multi-system integration driven by workflow with guaranteed delivery of transactions and full event logging. In short, everyone has access to the most recent information, regardless of which system the data comes from.

    Because it’s built into the AMANDA suite of software, AMANDA EAI can ensure record-integrity between all systems. It has these capabilities:

  • The ability to get data into and out of AMANDA through reusable components. Therefore no fit analysis, programming or testing is      required. Maintenance and complexity remains relatively constant as integration partners are added. Applications can be brought in and      out of the business process with much less impact.
  • Sending data to AMANDA requires no programming within EAI.
  • Getting data out of AMANDA, either by query or by transaction can be done using XML. Minimal development expertise is needed.
  • Security (authentication, authorization, privacy, encryption, non-repudiation) is provided
  • Integrating Non-standard File Formats - AMANDA Imaging is a powerful tool for accessing, sharing and distributing document and image information directly within an AMANDA module. Its ability to handle the majority of document viewing requirements—from native file viewing, 3D CAD model viewing, to document markup and revision—makes AMANDA Imaging one of the most powerful viewing tools on the market.

    AMANDA Imaging solves document management needs, including:

  • Have an online audit trail of revisions made to applicants’ drawings and plans
  • View, print and send files without maintaining many separate software applications
  • Enable cross-department interaction through shared access to documents in-process
  • Maintain a common file repository for quick access to archived records
  • Keep paper flow to a minimum
  • AMANDA Scan Station Manages Paper - As an option, documents can be scanned and cleaned-up directly from within an AMANDA module, without opening a new application. AMANDA can connect to 7,200 scanner models, both flat-bed or ADF (Automatic Document Feeder). Images are scanned with a single click and can be attached to any Folder, People, Property or Process. This process is so fast it can be deployed at a service counter, meaning documents can be scanned and returned to the original holder almost instantly.
