CSDC uses the AMANDA Implementation Methodology (“AIM”) to implement its AMANDA-based solutions. AMANDA is the enabling platform upon which its Licensing, Permitting and Compliance solutions are built. AIM is CSDC’s proven methodology for implementing complex, multi-stakeholder public sector projects.
The defining aspect of our methodology is that it recognizes the unique characteristics and objectives of each project. AIM incorporates all aspects of project management activities from initiation through to delivery and closure and consists of six (6) key phases.

In the prepare phase, we set the foundation for the subsequent phases. This phase includes initial kick-off meetings, detailed project planning, client resource planning, project management and hardware, software infrastructure preparation, and software delivery.
The Modeling & Prototype phase establishes the foundational design and base configuration that include best practice folders. CSDC conducts a detailed review of the current state of business processes with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to gather all required detailed documentation and business processes. CSDC facilitates workshops designed to identify business process improvement opportunities based on best practices. We also conduct solution modeling sessions to establish a baseline for your Licensing solution.
In this phase, the prototype folders are discussed and the business details are analyzed to identify gaps, if any. This phase includes analysis of reports, interfaces and data conversion. CSDC also conducts product orientation training to familiarize client SMEs with the new system, using the prototype folders. CSDC also conducts a business fit analysis using the prototype folder, resulting in detailed business requirements formalized in a document.
CSDC configures the prototype folders to reflect the established business rules and requirements. This phase also includes data conversion and development of output documents and interfaces.
The system is tested and end users are trained in this phase. CSDC will prepare for and train SME and key staff on the configured solution.
The Go-Live and Closure phase is the last phase of the project where the system is rolled into production. Post go-live assistance is also included in this phase to stabilize the system.
