Built on AMANDA Public Portal, additional self-service options help automate service delivery while providing greater transparency

Markham’s self-service website provides citizens with the ability to conduct a public search on a specific property or street address to determine whether a building permit or building investigation record exists. The general public can also search for planning or development applications, business licenses or tree permits attributed to any property. Any citizen can search for a specific address, a street, or simply select multiple addresses from a map.

In addition to public search, the Town of Markham also offers registered services. Registered users can log-in to access information regarding their permits, applications and licenses and request inspections for their building permits. This service also enables citizens to apply for a planning application pre-consultation directly online.

Moving these services online not only saves citizens time, it frees agency staff to focus on more strategic initiatives.
