Position Description:

CSDC is seeking a passionate, driven for success individual with the ability to continue a business relationship with our clients as well as develop new business. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for targeting and developing new prospects, as well as building and maintaining existing relationships within our client base.

You will be involved in a team environment, but expected to work independently. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for selling CSDC solutions to Government clients across USA, Canada and Caribbean. The position reports to the Director of Sales and interacts with all levels of senior management. Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager represents CSDC in the marketplace and builds/maintains senior-level relationships with existing clients and new prospects.

This is a permanent, full-time position as a Regional Sales Manager located in anywhere in greater Toronto, Orlando or Fort Worth area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing and new customer needs in terms of current business obstacles, identifying projects and scoping potential CSDC solutions
  • Build new revenue streams through the expansion and growth of the business relationships with new clients
  • Expedite the sales cycle by demonstrating superior knowledge of Local, County, Province and State level government services
  • Strive to increase market share and support sales & marketing programs, RFP’s, bids & other customer requirements to grow sales & strengthen relationships
  • Contribute to proposal development (RFP), negotiations, and deal closings
  • Develop and manage sales cycle to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas
  • Responsible for Software License, Services and Training sales
  • Manage customer calls and web presentations.
  • Prepare and perform sales presentations and demonstrations to match CSDC solutions with identified needs
  • Present and articulate product features, benefits, future product direction and overall CSDC solutions
  • Coordinate sales efforts with both inside sales and marketing department
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Targeting and prospecting to uncover qualified sales opportunities

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree
  • A minimum of 5 years solutions software sales experience in selling to Governments with a proven track record of negotiating and selling to senior-level decision makers
  • Experience with the Land Management, Licensing, Enforcement, Public Health or Fire Prevention services and solutions would be ideal
  • Ability to understand Land Management, Licensing and eGovernment Services’ core business processes
  • Ability to learn and understand product solutions and features
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with various government procurement vehicles
  • Demonstrated performance in driving revenue through the development of innovative and long-term strategic relationships with clients
  • Prospecting and qualification experience
  • Needs analysis, positioning, business justification, negotiating and closing skills
  • Effective sales, marketing, time and project management skills
  • Experience in meeting sales quotas and revenue forecasting to achieve sales goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: able to talk to C-level, or technical audiences
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to travel in the United States, Canada and Caribbean
